Keith Lo Bue, Elisabeth Higgins O’Connor & Jason Walker

A trio of solo exhibitions showcasing Keith Lo Bue, Elisabeth Higgins O’Connor and Jason Walker investigates the complexities of the urban experience. Through found materials, fiber and ceramics, each artist presents a mash-up of contemporary life by remixing familiar figurative imagery.

Join us for a dialogue with mixed media artist Elisabeth Higgins O’Connor. Free.


Sculptural Heads: Patched, Fastened and Cobbled Together:

Saturday & Sunday, March 14 - 15, 10 AM - 5 PM

Using cardboard, paint and found fabric, students will learn  to build an expressive sculptural head in this workshop.


Artist Talk, Jason Walker:

Thursday, April 16, 6:30 PM

Combing animal imagery with industrial elements, Jason Walker questions how technology has changed our perceptions of nature. Co-sponsored with Carnegie Museum of Art and presented in the CMOA Theater.


Workshop:

Saturday, April 18, 1 - 4 PM

Join Jason Walker for a discussion about creativity; hands-on making in SCC’s Studio following the talk. The event is co-sponsored by the Carnegie Museum of Art.
