I compare and contrast shapes and patterns and am fascinated with fish and sea creatures.  These crabs and fish—naturally animated in the wild—have been captured in a single pose and reproduced in mass.  As I arrange and repeat these organic forms I create patterns that resemble man-made, geometric designs used to make doilies or Mandalas. The individual objects help create the pattern, but they also get lost in it, and in turn become part of a larger whole.  In a way they blend into a synthetic camouflage as they become incorporated into the overall pattern.
