Some experiences rock our lives to and fro. This sculptural rocking stool captures experiences of transition and transformation that have occurred in my work and life over the past five months. Materials come together, different entities become one—dark and light, rugged and soft, steel and wood—ideas are recontextualized giving shape to previously unfamiliar materials.
