Daniel Kuhn

The combination of Ceramics and Photography creates an interplay between the tones and texture of clay and the stark lines of the decal image. I use imagery that speaks to a time and place in my own personal history, yet the imagery is common enough that viewers often make their own connection. Through the decal application on high-fired clay I create a permanent vehicle for imagery and sculpture.
