Jessi Moore
I utilize several techniques of glass working; many of my pieces include blown and hot cast or kiln formed elements. I work with glass because I find the contradictory qualities of the material intriguing. It is the transparency of the glass that I am most drawn to. In some ways it exists yet does not exist, visible yet invisible. The material lends itself well to interpretations and representations of memories. Glass, like our internal terrain, exists yet is invisible.
