Bill creates brightly painted metal sculpture without equal.  They are imaginary animals built from word play that seem to tell the stories of the artist’s own folklore.  Often mechanical and toy-like, his creations are made entirely of welded sheet metal and metal rods.  The work ranges from small sculptures to mail boxes and altered cars.

The artist received his MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan.  His work has gained him numerous awards and has allowed him over a dozen museum exhibitions across the country.
