Marlene True is a full-time studio artist and current Artist in Residence at Pocosin Arts in Columbia, North Carolina.  She was recently honored having her work chosen to become a part of the permanent collection of the Enamel Arts Foundation in Los Angeles, CA.  Forthcoming, her work and writings will be featured in Lark Book’s, Jewelry Design Challenge.  When not in her studio Marlene is busy teaching students to make jewelry with recycled tin and other alternative materials and is scheduled at both Penland School of Crafts and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts for summer of 2010.
