Stacey Lee Webber
Stacey Lee Webber is an artist who finds unique ways to recontextualize everyday objects and materials which hold a revealing role in contemporary American culture. Through meticulous repetition in techniques, Webber’s sculptures are unendingly pleasing to the eye and often defy preconceived notions of handmade. Webber is interested in consistently exposing the neglected skill of hand laborers. For three years she has continued to make ceremonial objects that support the everyday blue collar man while fitting into the post modern art arena.
