A free, fun-filled celebration of art held outside adjacent to SCC. The day features a wide range of creative, hands-on activities, artist demonstrations and music. There will also be sales by 16 local craft artists and art-making for children and a chance to tour the current exhibition.
 
     
The Society for Contemporary Craft's annual community day celebration of creativity, art: inside/out features docent-led tours of the current exhibition, artist demonstrations by regional craft artists in the plaza, hands-on art activities for kids and adults, live music, food, and a guest appearance by SCC's giant puppet.

In addition to the outdoor festivities, visitors are encouraged to explore SCC, investigating the current exhibition and browsing The Store, which features over 400 national and international craft artists.   Classes being held in The Studio, SCC's education center offering courses in fiber, book arts and paper, metal, wood, and mixed media, are open for visitor observation.   art: inside/out is free and open to the public. People who have never visited SCC are delighted by the wide ranging activities and overview into the organization and long-time supportersare welcomed back to new items available in The Store.
