The Society for
Contemporary Craft offers a unique and memorable venue for
corporate and private events. Host your fundraising gala,
wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, holiday party, or birthday
party, at one of Pittsburgh’s cultural gems.
Our helpful and personalized service combined with
SCC’s internationally acclaimed exhibitions will
create a distinctive ambience for entertaining your
guests.
Location: Conveniently
located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s hip Strip
District at the corner of 21st Street and Smallman Street.
Facility: SCC can comfortably
accommodate up to 250 people guests for cocktail-style receptions
and up to 65 for seated dinners.
Availability: SCC is
available for private functions after public hours.
Events may be scheduled starting at 6 p.m. and anytime
on Sundays. We can accommodate events during business
hours by special request, please be advised that public
spaces remain open. No rentals will be scheduled from March 14, 2008 thru June 7, 2008.
Catering: SCC has a non-restrictive
catering clause; a list of preferred caterers and musicians
is available by request.
Parking: Free and metered
parking is available and plentiful.
Fees: $1700 for a 7-hour rental.
Reservations: Special
