Come to SCC for Martini Madness on Thursday, June 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, and enjoy free martinis and hors d’oeuvres with the purchase of a spectacular artist-made martini glass! Guest Bartender Sean Byrne has created a signature martini just for SCC, and DUQ personality Bob Studebaker will be the Special Guest Bartender. The event features Vodka by Vox, including its flavors Vox Raspberry and new Vox Green Apple, and hors d’oeuvres by Whole Foods. Martini glass prices range from $26 to $200. SCC will host a lecture by visiting artist Robert Ebendorf, a leader in the field of contemporary craft and guest juror for SCC's 2005 Raphael Prize competition and exhibition, on Tuesday, June 28 at 6 pm. Ebendorf will talk about his work, which combines traditional goldsmithing techniques, collage and unconventional materials to create dynamic ornamentation and one-of-a-kind jewelry.
